Job Title: CarpenterEmployer: KadroBuild Timber LimitedLocation: Coachford Business Park, Coachford, Macroom, Co. Cork, P12 EA37Salary: €36,605 p.a.Hours: 39 hours per weekKey Responsibilities:•
- Measure, mark, cut and shape timber and other construction materials according to technical drawings and specifications.•
- Assemble, install and repair timber structures, frameworks, roof components, wall panels, floors and related construction elements.•
- Construct and fit timber frame components ensuring structural integrity and compliance with quality standards.•
- Install doors, frames, partitions, cladding and other wooden fixtures as required.•
- Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools and woodworking equipment safely and efficiently.•
- Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy, quality and compliance with construction requirements.•
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work environment.•
- Collaborate with supervisors, site teams and production personnel to complete projects efficiently.
Requirements•
- A genuine interest in carpentry, joinery, and timber construction.•
- Previous experience in a construction, carpentry, manufacturing, or woodworking environment is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.•
- Hard-working, motivated, flexible, and able to work well in a busy environment.•
- Ability to communicate in the English language.•
- Good attention to detail and willingness to learn new skills.•
- Commitment to health and safety standards.
