Walsh Plant & Groundworks Limited at Crohane, Ballinascarthy, Co.Cork is looking for 2 heavy machine operator ( excavator operator ). The successful candidates will be required to drive and control an excavator.
- The RoleAs an Excavator Operator, you will play a key role in supporting our construction projects by operating both small and large excavator units safely and efficiently.
- You will help deliver projects to the highest standards while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
- Key ResponsibilitiesOperate a range of excavators.
- Carry out excavation, trenching, grading, levelling, drainage, and foundation works.
- Carry out daily machine inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
- Work safely in accordance with company procedures and health and safety legislation.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and ground workers to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating both small and large excavators.
- Demonstrates excellent machine control and safe operating practices.Is reliable, hardworking, and takes pride in delivering quality work.
- Can work independently while also contributing positively within a team.
