About this role
Ardfoyle Convent, Ballintemple (Near- Pairc Ui Chaoimh).
- Experienced Staff Nurse required to join our nursing team, in our purpose built 13 single bedroom unit.
- Registered General Nurse- will have a nursing qualification and be registered with NMBI, with a valid NMBI Pin.
- Normally working 1 Day per week- 12 Hour shift - includes working 1 in 4 weekends (+ Holiday / Absence Cover).
- Excellent clinical skills and use of best practice & promoting patient centered care.
- Maintaining consistently high standards of professional and ethical responsibility.
- Safe Medication Management.
- Infection Prevention & Control.
- Effective management of patient health, needs, wellbeing and continuity of care.
- Oversee HCA's and liaising with the CNM and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Strong computer & documentation skills.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- Excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)Must be permitted to work in Ireland and be available for immediate start.
- Previous experience in working with the elderly in a similar position is an advantage but not necessary.
