Friends of Waldorf-Steiner Education Galway is seeking a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated Afterschool Educator to join our afterschool team, with an immediate start available.
- We are looking for someone who is passionate about working with children and interested in supporting a nurturing, creative and child-centred environment inspired by Waldorf-Steiner education.
The ideal candidate will have:- A minimum QQI/FETAC Level 5 qualification in Childcare (or equivalent)- Experience working with school-aged children- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- A sincere and genuine love of working with children- The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team- An interest in creative, child-centred approaches to education and careThe following would be an advantage: Familiarity with, or an interest in learning about, Waldorf-Steiner educationSkills or experience in areas such as art, music, crafts, storytelling, yoga, outdoor education, or other creative disciplinesCurrent First Aid certificationAdditional requirements: Garda Vetting will be required for the successful applicantSalary: Salary is negotiable and will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.To apply: Please send your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your interest in the role to [email protected] .We look forward to hearing from candidates who share our commitment to providing a nurturing and enriching environment for children.
