About this role
- Previous experience working as a Tekla Detailer, Steel Detailer, Structural Steel Detailer or similar role.
- Practical experience with Tekla Structures.
- Good understanding of structural steel fabrication and processes.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Understanding of steelwork connections, sections, plates, bolts, welds and fabrication requirements.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and construction documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a design team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects or deadlines effectively.A relevant qualification in structural engineering, civil engineering, architectural technology, construction or a related discipline would be advantageous.
