About this role
Assured Personnel Limited, based in Swords, Co. Dublin, are currently seeking Car Mechanics to work for its client, MB Motors based in Swords, Co. Dublin, K67 TE83.Duties & Responsibilities-
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles using diagnostic tools and test drives.-
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake servicing, tyre repairs, alignments, and fluid checks.-
- Carry out repairs on engines, transmissions, steering systems, suspension, exhaust systems, and other mechanical components.-
- Inspect vehicles for faults, wear, and potential issues, providing accurate repair recommendations.-
- Complete service and repair records accurately and in line with company procedures.-
- Ensure all work is carried out to manufacturer standards and meets safety and compliance requirements.-
- Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding necessary repairs and timelines.-
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop area.-
- Keep up to date with new vehicle technologies, diagnostic methods, and repair procedures.
Requirements & Experience-
- Candidate must be competent to carry out all duties listed above-
- Minimum 3 years of previous experience working as a mechanic-
- Mechanic/motor technician qualification is an advantage but is not required-
- Proven experience working as a car mechanic or vehicle technician.-
- Experience working in a garage and with fleet of vehicles-
- Knowledge of vehicle electronics and diagnostics-
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.-
- Ability to use modern diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.-
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.-
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.-
- Strong communication and customer service skills.-
- Commitment to maintaining high quality and safety standards.
