About the team The SMB team is a consultative sales team responsible for growing Stripe's SMB customer base across the region. We partner with some of the most ambitious and fastest-growing companies—helping them unlock new revenue streams and growth opportunities through Stripe's payments and financial infrastructure.
What you'll do As an Account Executive, you'll own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and closing to managing existing relationships and identifying expansion opportunities within your book of business. You'll execute account strategies, engage internal and external stakeholders, align on technical and business requirements, build value in competitive situations, and lead commercial negotiations to close.
Responsibilities
Own a named account list and develop account plans for winning and expanding business with high-growth technology companies. Own the full sales cycle, including business case development, deal structuring, negotiation, close, and activation. Work with existing SMB customers to develop and execute long-term strategies that expand Stripe's revenue. Develop outbound strategies to create and nurture pipeline opportunities. Drive deal strategy and lead commercial negotiations for complex renewals. Build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders across your accounts. Lead account mapping and coordinate effective meetings with the right external stakeholders to deepen and expand customer relationships. Contribute to team projects that develop and refine our sales process and help shape Stripe's sales culture.

Minimum requirements
2+ years of sales experience, preferably selling a technical product, with a track record of top performance. Ability to understand technical requirements and craft solutions across multiple products. Ability to develop and execute account plans spanning multiple business units across complex organisations. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, internally and externally. Strong presentation skills, particularly for in-person meetings with multiple stakeholders. Proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements. Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. Genuine interest in technology and a solid understanding of the payments and fintech landscape. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Fluency in Spanish
