Our client is a well-established company operating in all segments of passenger transport, including public transport, school and company transport, and coach tourism services.
- With multiple locations across Belgium and Luxembourg, they are looking for a skilled Bus Mechanic to strengthen their garage team in Affligem or Lede . Jobomschrijving Your Responsibilities Independently perform both simple and complex mechanical and electrical repairs and installations on buses.
- Carry out preventive maintenance and diagnostics.
- Report all maintenance and repair work accurately using the company's garage application.
- Take the lead when necessary and provide support and guidance to fellow technicians.
- Participate in technical training courses provided by various bus manufacturers.
- You have a solid technical background in vehicle mechanics.
- You have knowledge of vehicle electronics and can read electrical diagrams.
- You are passionate about technology and work accurately, safely, and independently.
- You hold a technical secondary education (TSO) diploma in Automotive Technology or have equivalent experience.
- You are proactive, able to identify technical issues, and find effective solutions.
- You communicate well in English , Dutch , or French . Experience with the maintenance of suspension systems, brakes, filters, and general vehicle servicing is required.
- Experience working on trucks is an advantage; experience with buses is even better.
- A Category B driving licence is considered an asset, as occasional roadside assistance may be required.
