Your Role:

At Sterilog Pudsey, our decontamination facility plays a crucial role in the healthcare system by ensuring that surgical and medical equipment are delivered to hospitals in a clean and surgically safe condition.

We are recruiting a Training Manager to join our B. Braun Sterilog team in Pudsey. This is a key leadership position within a regulated environment, where you will play an integral role in developing and delivering high-quality training programmes, ensuring compliance, and supporting continuous improvement across the site.

As a people manager, you’ll play an essential part in shaping a positive, inclusive, and development-focused culture. As part of the leadership team, you will provide strategic direction and operational oversight to the training function, ensuring all employees are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and competencies required to perform safely and effectively.

Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday (flexibility may be required)

Location: B. Braun Sterilog, Richardshaw Road, Pudsey, LS28 6QW

Your main responsibilities:

Lead the development and delivery of training programmes in line with regulatory requirements and best practiceProvide leadership and performance management to the training team, including coaching and developmentDesign and implement training plans aligned with operational needs and business objectivesMaintain accurate training records and competency frameworksCoordinate mandatory training programmes, including Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) requirementsCollaborate with Quality and Technical teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and audit readinessSupport corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives linked to training outcomesConduct training audits and contribute to SOP development and maintenanceSupport recruitment activities and onboarding of new production staff

What you need to succeed:

Proven experience in a training, learning & development, or competency-based role, ideally within a regulated, technical, or production-led environmentStrong leadership and people-management skills with the ability to develop, coach, and motivate teamsExperience designing and delivering structured training programmesExcellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple training activitiesStrong understanding of compliance frameworks, quality systems, or regulatory requirementsConfident communicator able to tailor messages to different audiences
