- Jobomschrijving As a Data Engineer / BI Consultant, you will contribute to the design, development, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's data ecosystem.
Your responsibilities will include
- Developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines within a Snowflake environment.
- Working with SQL and Linux/Bash to support data integration, automation, and transformation processes.
- Implementing and maintaining solutions within a modern Data Mesh architecture combining Data Lake and Data Warehouse principles.
- Ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of data flows and reporting solutions.
- Collaborating closely with international business stakeholders located across multiple countries and time zones.
- Gathering business requirements and translating them into sustainable and efficient data solutions.
- Supporting the continuous improvement of reporting, analytics, and Business Intelligence capabilities.
- Contributing to data quality, governance, and optimization initiatives.
- Participating in ongoing projects related to cloud data platforms and digital transformation.
- The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills and enjoys working in an international environment.We are looking for someone who can demonstrate: 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, or a similar domain.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake at an intermediate level.
- Strong knowledge of: SQL Linux/Bash Data Factory Experience working with business stakeholders and translating functional requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with international teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- The following skills would be considered an advantage: Experience with Data Mesh architectures.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Experience with Matillion.
- Experience with Teradata.
- Languages: English is mandatory.
- French and/or Dutch are considered strong assets.
