Responsibilities:

Act as the first point of contact for IT support queries via phone and emailLog and manage incidents using service management toolsResolve issues in line with SLAs or escalate to second/third-line support when necessaryAttend customer sites for installations and troubleshootingAssist in building and supporting VOIP platforms and full-fibre networksMaintain accurate documentation for hardware and software systemsSupport senior engineers on projects and complex faults Desirable skills:

Windows 11 and Office 365Basic networking conceptsLAN/WAN technologies (routers, switches, firewalls)Fibre optic communicationsVOIP, SIP, ISDNBroadband technologies (ADSL/VDSL, FTTC, FTTP, Point-to-Point)Strong customer service focusProactive and able to work under pressureGood initiative and problem-solving skillsFull UK driving license

Entry requirements:

3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subjectGCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.
