Substitute teacher positions available with the Smithfield Public Schools
Positions are available on an as needed basis. Positions are depending upon job availability as needed within the district.
Official College transcripts are required indicating degree conferred or if candidates are RIDE certified, please submit a valid RI Department of Education Certification
Please be sure you have submitted a complete current resume and submit your college transcripts (only submit college transcripts if you are not RI Department of Education certified). A copy of the official transcripts are acceptable, with degree conferred officially transcribed on the transcripts.
Salary
RI Department of Education Certified Teachers $140 per day
College Degree $130 per day
Substitute teacher positions require ONE of the following:
- Associates degree
OR
- Bachelors degree
OR
- RI Department of Education certification
