PREFERRED Qualifications
Part-Time Substitute School Nurse
- Hold a current LPN or RN license in the State of Virginia.
- Hold current CPR certification.
- Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with students, parents, administrators, staff, medical providers, and community partners.
- Be available to provide nursing coverage on a part-time, as-needed basis and adapt to school routines and student health needs.
- Have a working knowledge of special education procedures and laws, student health plans, and immunization requirements preferred.
