ANTICIPATED SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL OPENING
*QUALIFICATIONS: Must be Qualified
To be “Qualified” the applicant must meet atleast one of the following:
- Possess an Associate degree (or higher) from an accredited institution.
- Provide official transcripts showing a minimum of two (2) years of college-level coursework completed
- Must pass the Paraprofessional Assessment examination. (The District will fully assist and support the selected candidate in obtaining this certificate through the local Intermediate Unit if not already held).
*CLASSROOM ASSIGNMENT:
- May be assigned to an Autistic Support (AS) environment, or other special education setting. Duties include implementing student support plans, accommodations, and behavioral strategies as directed.
HOURS
6 ½ hrs per day (6 hours paid and a ½ hour unpaid lunch)
TERM: 183 days
