About this role
A substitute bus driver is responsible for safely transporting students to and from school in the absence of regular bus drivers. Duties include following assigned routes and schedules, maintaining order and discipline on the bus, conducting pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections, and ensuring the safety of all passengers. The substitute bus driver must be dependable, safety-conscious, possess a valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with required endorsements, and follow all district policies and transportation regulations.
