Swope Health is seeking a compassionate, community-focused Dentist to join our team at our new Kansas City, Kansas clinic. This is an exciting opportunity to help establish dental services in a growing community while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives.
As a General Dentist at Swope Health, you will provide comprehensive oral healthcare, educate patients and families, collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, and help expand access to quality dental services. Duties will include some oversight of the residents in our AEGD Program. Whether you are an experienced provider or a recent graduate, you will find opportunities to grow professionally while serving a mission-driven organization.
National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Opportunity
This position may be eligible for National Health Service Corps (NHSC) student loan repayment, subject to program requirements and individual approval.

What You'll Do
- Diagnose and treat oral health conditions
- Develop patient-centered treatment plans
- Perform preventive, restorative, surgical, and prosthetic procedures within the scope of practice
- Educate patients on oral health and preventive care
- Supervise dental support staff as required
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention and patient safety standards
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Help create a welcoming and patient-centered culture at the clinic
Required Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
- Current Kansas and Missouri dental license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Strong clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to culturally responsive, patient-centered care
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a clinical dental setting. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
