Mistras Group is seeking dedicated LVL II MT, PT, UTT Technician with ISQ for Pascagoula, MS for a temporary project starting Mid-January 2027!!!!
Location: Pascagoula, MS
Duration: 4 to 5 Weeks
Start Date: Mid-January 2027
Expected Completion: Mid-February 2027
MISTRAS Group is seeking a qualified Multi-Level NDT Technician (Level II) to join our team in Pascagoula, MS. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of non-destructive testing methods, including MT, PT, UT, RT, and ISQ, and be capable of performing inspections in accordance with applicable codes, customer specifications, and company procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current certifications in MT, PT, UT, RT, and/or ISQ.
- Strong understanding of ASNT, ASTM, API, AWS, and other applicable industry standards.
- Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform NDT inspections using MT, PT, UT, RT, and ISQ methods as qualified.
- Interpret and evaluate inspection results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports and required documentation.
- Maintain inspection equipment and ensure proper calibration.
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations.
- Communicate inspection findings with customers, supervisors, and project teams.
- Maintain required certifications and participate in ongoing training.
- Set up and calibrate equipment.
- Ensure inspections meet applicable code and customer requirements.
- Travel to customer locations as required.
- Perform additional inspection methods or duties as assigned.
