About this role
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA/LPN for its Ames GI office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include
Patient care including rooming, phone calls, MyChart messaging, medication refills and prior authorizations.
Education
- Graduate from an accredited program for Medical Assistants
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
Certification/License
- Certification or registration from an approved certifying for Medical Assistants (AAMA, ARMA, AMT, NAHP, NCCT, NHA).
- Possession of a State Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse.
Days: Monday - Friday.
Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
Experience
- Previous clinical nursing experience
Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are a condition of hire.
