Principle Responsibilities
- Scheduled Monday - Friday, some Saturday possible; 7:00am - 4:30pm
- Read and understand the production schedule.
- Communicate with Box Erector.
- Enter basic computer information.
- Apply labels to boxes when required.
- Maintain clean work area.
- Set up tape machine in timely manner.
- Complete skid tag information.
- Recognize potential machine problems.
- Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety policies and procedures.
- Report safety incidents to supervisor/management immediately.
- Report food safety concerns to supervisor/management immediately.
Physical Demands
- Be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Be able to push or pull approximately 200 pounds.
- Be able to stand for majority of shift.
- Be able to read/write English.
- Be able to work in high ambient temperatures.
- Be able to perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting.
Qualifications
Education
- High school diploma or GED required.
Experience
- Six (6) months food manufacturing experience preferred.
