About this role

American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC)

Supporting AACC and the International Christian Coaching Association (ICCA)

Position Type: Full-Time

Department: Membership

Reports To: Sr. Director of Member Enrollment

About the Opportunity

The American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) is seeking a highly organized, energetic, and personable Member Benefits Coordinator to help deliver an exceptional membership experience across AACC and the International Christian Coaching Association (ICCA).

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives on organization, and takes pride in making things happen.

Our members include Christian counselors, coaches, pastors, ministry leaders, and other helping professionals who rely on AACC and ICCA for professional development, educational resources, community, and support.

We are looking for someone who can help ensure those members consistently receive meaningful value from their membership.

The ideal candidate is a natural relationship-builder who can juggle multiple responsibilities, communicate confidently with professional presenters and members, stay ahead of deadlines, and bring a positive, solutions-oriented attitude to the team.

You do not need extensive professional experience to succeed in this role. We are looking for someone with exceptional potential, strong character, outstanding organizational skills, and a genuine desire to learn and grow.

What You'll Do

Member Benefits & Programming

  • Coordinate the ongoing delivery of AACC and ICCA membership benefits, ensuring programs and resources are delivered on time and with excellence.
  • Manage scheduling, presenter communications, logistics, and follow-up for member webinars, including AACC CounselTalk and ICCA programming.
  • Coordinate established membership resources such as CounselTrends, Care and Counsel, and Clinical Insights.
  • Help organize member division meetings and professional community engagement opportunities.
  • Coordinate ICCA mentor coaching administration, including scheduling, registration, attendance, and participant communications.
  • Work with Program Development and appropriate subject-matter experts to prepare educational resources, webinar assessments, and participant materials.
  • Manage webinar recordings, video uploads, replay availability, and member access using platforms such as Vimeo.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop and introduce new membership benefits, particularly as ICCA continues to expand.

Member Relationships & Welcome Calls

  • Serve as a friendly, professional point of contact for new and existing AACC and ICCA members.
  • Conduct individual Zoom welcome calls to help members understand and maximize the value of their membership.
  • Meet with prospective membership leads to answer questions, explain available benefits, and connect them with appropriate enrollment resources.
  • Maintain three designated days of appointment availability per week, generally from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., through Calendly or a similar scheduling platform.
  • Complete other assigned responsibilities during appointment periods without scheduled calls.
  • Help members navigate available resources, training opportunities, events, and professional communities.
  • Gather member feedback and identify opportunities to improve the membership experience.

Call availability may be adjusted by the Sr. Director of Member Enrollment based on appointment demand and operational priorities.

Membership Communications & Content

  • Coordinate monthly AACC and ICCA eNews communications, including gathering departmental updates, preparing content, managing deadlines, and coordinating distribution.
  • Help research, prepare, and organize educational articles, resources, and updates for members.
  • Coordinate content submissions and communications for membership-related publications and newsletters.
  • Ensure content and member communications are accurate, timely, professional, and aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Work collaboratively with Marketing, Media, and Program Development to communicate the value of membership benefits.

Website Coordination & Performance Tracking

  • Work closely with the IT team to ensure AACC and ICCA membership websites accurately reflect current benefits, resources, events, and programming.
  • Monitor webinar registration information, speaker details, member resource pages, and other relevant content.
  • Help coordinate website corrections and updates.
  • Track engagement metrics such as webinar registration and attendance, benefit utilization, welcome call participation, and member feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to improve membership engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Provide regular updates to the Sr. Director of Member Enrollment regarding programming, performance, and opportunities for improvement.

Project Management & Team Collaboration

  • Maintain organized calendars, project trackers, and schedules across multiple membership initiatives.
  • Coordinate with presenters, speakers, internal departments, and outside partners to ensure projects move forward smoothly.
  • Anticipate deadlines, communicate proactively, and follow through on outstanding items.
  • Collaborate with Membership, Program Development, Marketing, Media, and IT teams.
  • Support additional membership initiatives and special projects as needed.

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

  • Are exceptionally organized and enjoy keeping multiple projects moving simultaneously.
  • Have a warm, outgoing personality and genuinely enjoy interacting with people.
  • Communicate confidently and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Are comfortable speaking with professionals, organizational leaders, and presenters.
  • Learn new technology and processes quickly.
  • Take initiative, solve problems, and don't need someone constantly reminding you what needs to be done.
  • Have strong attention to detail and take pride in producing excellent work.
  • Can balance scheduled meetings, competing deadlines, and changing priorities.
  • Work well independently while also being a collaborative team player.
  • Are motivated by the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a mission-driven organization.
  • Support and align with the Christian mission and values of AACC and ICCA.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Experience in customer service, project coordination, administration, event planning, or related fields is helpful.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Zoom, Calendly, CRM systems, or website management platforms is a plus.
  • Experience coordinating webinars, digital content, or membership programs is beneficial but not required.
  • A bachelor's degree is preferred, but relevant skills, demonstrated ability, and professional potential will be strongly considered.

We value attitude, aptitude, initiative, and reliability just as much as professional experience.

What Success Looks Like

In this position, success means

  • AACC and ICCA membership benefits are delivered consistently, accurately, and on schedule.
  • Members and presenters have excellent experiences interacting with our organization.
  • New members feel welcomed, informed, and connected to their membership.
  • Webinars, resources, and membership communications run smoothly.
  • Membership websites and resource information remain accurate and current.
  • Member participation and benefit utilization are consistently monitored and improved.
  • New ICCA membership benefits are successfully introduced and expanded.
  • Internal teams can depend on you to communicate clearly, stay organized, and follow through.

Why Join AACC?

At AACC, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside a mission-driven team dedicated to equipping Christian counselors, coaches, pastors, and helping professionals to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

This position offers a unique combination of relationship-building, event and program coordination, professional development, and organizational growth.

For the right person, it is an opportunity to develop valuable professional skills, build relationships with respected leaders and presenters, and contribute directly to the success of two growing professional membership organizations.

If you're organized, personable, motivated, and excited about helping others, we'd love to hear from you.
