About this role
- Summary The Intern/aide will conduct computational research.
- They will analyze already-collected data on cultured neurons using Cryo Electron Tomography and develop basic computational tools and models to support the research.
- This is a part-time, 10 hours/week position.
- Job Duties Analyzes Cryo Electron Tomography data.
- Develops computational tools and models of the data.
- Learns about hypothesis generation and testing, imaging data analysis.
- Works on research and manuscript preparation.
- Attends lab meetings.
- Attends department seminars and other intellectual enrichment activities.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be enrolled in high school, trade/vocational school or higher education institution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate with some experience in Cryo Electron Tomography and computational methods.
