YOU…
- provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Linux-based R&D and customer workstation environments
- troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to RHEL, hardware, virtualization, networking and software installations
- analyze and drive resolution of customer and internal escalation cases ("Yellow Flag" investigations)
- support software releases, platform updates and integration activities
- work closely with R&D, platform and infrastructure teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions
- maintain workstation configurations and ensure compliance with platform standards
- create and maintain technical documentation, knowledge base articles and troubleshooting guides
- contribute to automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and user experience
YOU…
- have successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a comparable qualification
- have Experience supporting large-scale Linux workstation environments
- are familiar with ticketing systems and incident management processes
- have experience with configuration management and automation tools
- understand software development workflows and release processes
- possess strong hands-on experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- have proven Linux troubleshooting and system administration skills
- have a good understanding of virtualization technologies and enterprise workstation environments
- Experience with Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Solid networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and security fundamentals
- communicate professionally in English; German language skills are considered an advantage
