Infosys Brazil is looking for professionals with a Senior DevOps / DataOps Engineer | Databricks profile to join our team.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with DevOps or DataOps and end-to-end CI/CD pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Jenkins, including deployment, rollback, and release-versioning strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Git, branching strategies, pull requests, code review, and branch protection.
- Experience with Databricks Asset Bundles, Databricks CLI, and Databricks Repos.
- Advanced Python knowledge, including project modularization and library packaging.
- Experience with automated unit and integration testing using pytest or equivalent tools.
- Experience with Terraform, preferably using the Databricks provider.
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure services applied to data platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with legacy data warehouse migration to Lakehouse architectures.
- Knowledge of Databricks administration, including workspaces, clusters, jobs, workflows, and compute policies.
- Experience with Unity Catalog, RBAC, secrets management, environment segregation, and audit requirements.
- Solid SQL knowledge for pipeline validation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog.
- Knowledge of artifact registries and automated quality gates.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and improve CI/CD pipelines for Databricks environments.
- Automate the deployment of platform artifacts across development, testing, and production environments.
- Create reusable deployment templates using Databricks Asset Bundles.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform.
- Define branching, code review, versioning, and release standards.
- Implement automated tests, static analysis, linting, and code coverage controls.
- Automate governance controls using Unity Catalog and platform policies.
- Contribute to technical documentation and architecture decisions.
