Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond quickly to incidents, and a commitment to enforcing safety protocols. The Security Guard will play a crucial role in loss prevention and ensuring the overall safety of the premises.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent theft, vandalism, and other illegal activities.
- Utilize surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to observe and report any suspicious behavior.
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the premises, ensuring all security measures are in place and functioning properly.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary and provide detailed reports of incidents.
- Assist in loss prevention strategies by identifying potential security risks and recommending improvements.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security or law enforcement is preferred.
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV operation.
- Strong observational skills with the ability to remain alert at all times.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively.
- Must be physically fit to perform duties that may require standing for long periods or responding quickly to incidents.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education in security management is a plus.
