- RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
- Operation and financial oversight of Plumbing & Heating department.2.
- Oversee all Journeypersons, apprentices and office staff, including scheduling, job assignments and onsite supervision.3.
- Ensure all administrative work is complete in a timely and accurate manner.
- These duties include job tracking, purchase orders, warranty claims, billing, etc.4.
- Responsible for Inventory and fleet management.5.
- Responsible to support business growth by cultivating existing customers and developing new business opportunities within the Plumbing & Heating department.6.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry regulations and safety standards.7.
- Other duties as assigned.
- REQUIREMENTSJourneyperson ticket in either plumbing, electrical, sheet metal or refrigeration tech required.
- Extensive experience and knowledge in plumbing and heating operations, including team leadership and project management.
- Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in scheduling, dispatching and administrative oversight.
- Ability to mentor and train staff, including apprentices and technicians.
- Proficiency with industry software, including MI9, JDE and Microsoft office programs.
- Proven track record of maintaining safety standards, job quality and operational efficiency.
