About this role
Whitehouse Windows & Doors specialize in custom home and multi-family window and door installations.
We are seeking experienced *Window Installers *to join our team. You will participate in a variety of projects throughout the Calgary area and follow construction plans and instructions as required. This is a full time position.
To be successful in this position, you must be hard-working, reliable, and be able to perform physical tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation of commercial windows and doors including installation of sealed units and various glass applications
- Operate site equipment such as various lifts, hand and power tools
- Loading/Unloading of materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Other general laborer duties as required
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 5 years experience in construction
- *Must have Fall Protection certification *
- Must be able to lift heavy objects
- Must own proper PPE
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Have a strong work ethic and an ability to work in a team setting
- Lift certification and First Aid are considered an asset
- Journeymen Carpenter is considered an asset
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Outdoors in all temperatures, working at heights, safety sensitive work sites.
- Physically demanding: standing, bending, kneeling.
- Work site: Construction which requires full PPE (hard hats, CSA steel toed boots, safety glasses/goggles, high viz).

Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
