We currently seeking a full-time experienced Bookkeeper to join *one of our Client?s team*. The successful candidate will be a career-focused individual that is excited to join a growth-oriented, entrepreneurial firm.
The Role
- Efficiently and accurately perform full-cycle bookkeeping services for client?s business primarily using cloud-based software such as QBO.
- Record journal entries, complete bank reconciliations, and maintain accounts payable, accounts receivable, and capital asset details.
- Prepare sales tax calculations, reconciliations and filings.
- Prepare month-end financial reporting.
- Perform regular payroll duties for staff including calculating source deductions and T4/T5 preparation.
What You Will Bring
- 3-5 years of experience in full cycle bookkeeping
- Experience in working in cloud accounting software and applications such as Xero, QBO, Hubdoc, Wagepoint, etc.
- High attention to detail and strong organization skills required
- Active certifications in Xero and QBO preferred
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and practices
- Experience and an understanding of sales taxes and source deductions
- Ability to excel in a fast paced environment, prioritize workloads, meet deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
