Steady daytime hours in downtown Burlington, with weekends off.
We?re hiring a friendly, dependable cleaner for a well-kept condominium building in downtown Burlington. Many of the residents are older, so we?re looking for someone personable who takes pride in keeping the building clean and welcoming.
*Pay:* Starting at $19.00/hr
*Schedule:* Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM ? 1:30 PM (about 25 hours a week)
*Location:* 2210 Lakeshore Rd, Burlington (just east of Brant St)
*Start:* First week of November
What you?ll do
- Clean lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators and amenity rooms
- Manage the garbage and recycling rooms and bins
- Keep entrances and common areas tidy and welcoming
- *Greet residents with a friendly, helpful attitude.* You?ll be a familiar face in the building.
- Report building issues to our Building Support team
- Follow a set checklist and finish on time each day
What you need
- *Availability every weekday morning,* Monday to Friday
- A friendly, patient manner with residents
- A smartphone with data (we use an app for scheduling, clocking in and training)
- The ability to stay on your feet for the full shift: walking, bending and lifting garbage and supplies
- A clean police record
Nice to have
- Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
- Experience working with seniors or in customer service
- *Living in or near Burlington.* The building is on a Burlington Transit route, so a car isn?t required.
