About this role
Perform MIG and Arc welding to fabricate, repair, and modify metal components according to detailed schematics and blueprints Use plasma cutting tools, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to shape and assemble metal parts accuratelyRead and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine welding procedures and specificationsConduct rigging operations for lifting and positioning heavy equipment or structural elements safely using cranes or forkliftsApply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues with machinery or structural components and execute effective repairsUtilize calipers, schematics, and basic math skills to measure materials precisely and ensure quality standards are metAssist with machining tasks as needed to support manufacturing or maintenance projectsMaintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding, fabrication, and equipment operationSupport assembly processes by fitting parts together accurately using hand tools and welding techniques
