Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Controller to lead our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our accounting processes. This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and compliance. As a key member of our finance team, you will drive financial accuracy, streamline processes, and provide strategic insights to support our growth and stability. Essential Duties
- Manage all finance and accounting operations.
- Submission of all reporting in a timely manner including month end reporting within 5 business days of closing.
- Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts.
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements and corporate reporting.
- Oversee all month end closing across multiple companies.
- Responsible for year end closing.
- Lead year end audit preparation and execution
- Manage accounting records and all financial reports.
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Manage and comply with provincial report requirements.
- Account analysis and reconciliation.
- Ensure that appropriate internal financial controls and best practices are in place and adhered to across the organization.
- Provide leadership and support to accounting team.
- Oversee organization and timely reporting submissions for Accounting Department.
- Other related duties as assigned.

Education, Knowledge, and Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably in a leadership role
- Advanced degree in accounting
- CPA or CMA preferred
- Proven work experience as a controller preferred
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
- Experience in month-end and year-end close process
- Excellent accounting software and Microsoft Excel skills.
Pay: $100,000.00-$125,000.00 per year
