Rose Hill Care at Home is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented *Housekeeper* to provide regular household support for a private client in Thornhill.
The ideal candidate is dependable, respectful, organized, and comfortable working independently in a private home environment.
Responsibilities
- General household cleaning and tidying
- Vacuuming floors, carpets, furniture, and other areas as needed
- Dusting furniture, surfaces, and household items
- Cleaning windows and mirrors
- Changing bed linens and making beds
- Laundry, folding, and organizing clothing
- Washing dishes and maintaining kitchen cleanliness
- Basic kitchen cleaning and organization
- Cleaning bathrooms and common areas
- Maintaining an overall clean, organized, and comfortable home environment
- Other reasonable household duties as requested
Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping, cleaning, home-care, hotel, or similar experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently
- Respectful of client privacy and household preferences
- Comfortable completing physical housekeeping duties, including standing, bending, lifting, and vacuuming
- Good communication skills
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Schedule
- Specific days and hours may vary depending on the client?s needs
- Candidate should have some flexibility with scheduling
This is a private-home assignment, so professionalism, reliability, discretion, and respect for the client?s home are very important.
