As an HVAC Sheet Metal Journeyman/Apprentice, you will be essential in installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC systems. Reporting to the HVAC Supervisor, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and experience to ensure optimal system performance. Additionally, your relevant skills in appliance repair and construction will enhance your contributions to our projects. Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair HVAC sheet metal systems according to specifications and safety standards.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve HVAC issues effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Read and interpret schematics to guide installation and repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on HVAC systems.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including CSTS regulations, while executing tasks.
- retrofit,fabricate, install, and maintain sheet metal/ventilation
- Lay out, measure and mark sheet metal
- Reading and interpreting sketches and work specifications
- Maintain equipment, making repairs and modifications when necessary.
- Must be able to work on own and make decisions based on project scope
- Valid drivers license and clean drivers abstract
- Must be able to run job sites without supervision and delegate tasks to apprentices
- Fall protection, AWP, CSTS,
- Service experience is an asset
- 5 plus years experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
