Dental Laboratory Technician
Creative Designs Orthodontic Studio, an orthodontic laboratory in Mississauga, Ontario, is seeking two skilled Dental Laboratory Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will help fabricate high-quality dental prosthetics and orthodontic appliances with accuracy, consistency, and attention to detail.
Areas of Experience
We welcome candidates with training or practical experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Fabrication of nightguards and splints, including wax-up, investing, trimming, and polishing
- Fabrication of orthodontic appliances, including wire bending, acrylic work, trimming, and polishing
Position Summary
The successful candidates will support the creation and fabrication of dental prosthetics and orthodontic appliances. Your technical skills, careful workmanship, and commitment to quality will contribute to the consistent delivery of products that meet prescribed specifications and laboratory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate nightguards, splints or orthodontic appliances as assigned
- Follow prescriptions and dental models to ensure accurate, precise fabrication
- Use applicable laboratory equipment and techniques, including CAD/CAM technology where required
- Inspect finished products to confirm they meet established quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of completed work and materials used
Qualifications
- Previous dental laboratory experience or relevant education in dental technology
- Knowledge of dental laboratory techniques, procedures, and terminology
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
- A collaborative attitude and commitment to producing high-quality work
Wages
Compensation will be based on the successful candidate?s experience and qualifications.
