Tom?s Boots & Western Wear has been part of the Stettler community since 1979, helping folks get properly outfitted for work, the ranch, the rodeo, the dance floor, and everything in between.
We're looking for a *friendly, hardworking, and motivated Retail Sales Associate* to join our crew!
If you know your way around a pair of boots, enjoy talking to people, and take pride in helping customers find exactly what they're looking for, we'd like to meet you.
And if you're comfortable with computers, enjoy working with technology, or have a creative side for social media, that's even better!
What You'll Be Doing
Customer Service & Sales
- Welcome customers with a friendly smile and a helping hand
- Help customers find the right boots, jeans, western wear, workwear, hats, and accessories
- Fit boots and help customers find the right size and style
- Build genuine relationships with our customers
- Operate our POS system and handle transactions
- Make sure every customer leaves happy and confident with their purchase
Store Operations & Inventory
- Keep the sales floor looking sharp, organized, and well stocked
- Unpack, price, barcode, tag, and put away new merchandise
- Help maintain accurate inventory and organize the back room
- Create eye-catching displays and merchandise new arrivals
- Pitch in wherever needed to keep the store running smoothly
Online Store & Digital Tasks
We're more than just boots on shelves! We're also growing our online presence, and we'd love someone who enjoys the digital side of retail.
Depending on your skills and interests, you may also help with:
- Processing, packing, and preparing online orders for shipping or pickup
- Barcoding products and entering inventory into our computer system
- Adding new products, descriptions, photos, and prices to our online store
- Updating product information and keeping online inventory accurate
- Helping create social media content for Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok
- Taking product photos and highlighting new arrivals, promotions, and popular items
- Bringing fresh ideas to help us grow our online store and social media presence
If you're computer savvy, organized, and enjoy learning new technology, we'd love to put those skills to good use!

- Is comfortable using computers or willing to learn
- Pays attention to detail, especially when handling inventory and online orders
Bonus Points If You...
- Have experience with retail POS or inventory systems
- Have used Shopify or other online selling platforms
- Enjoy creating social media posts, photos, or short videos
- Have experience with product barcoding, data entry, or online orders
- Have a knack for merchandising, photography, or creative marketing
- Enjoy finding ways to make everyday tasks more efficient
