Summary
Join a small, close-knit team on an exciting new project. We?re opening a compact specialty coffee and pastry spot near Glencairn Station, and we?re looking for a part-time barista to help us start it right.
You?ll craft great espresso drinks, greet regulars by name, and help build a welcoming spot for neighbours and commuters. People and community come first here. We care more about how you make someone?s morning feel than how fast you can pull a shot (though speed helps too).
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee and other menu items with care.
- Welcome guests and provide attentive, friendly customer service.
- Handle orders and payments accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Support food preparation and safe food handling.
- Help maintain a clean, welcoming service environment.
What we're looking for
- Warm, genuine, and at ease with people
- Reliable and happy to work early weekday mornings
- Flexibility to adapt to change as we finalize processes and schedules
- Previous barista or café experience preferred
- A team player who?s excited to help shape something new from day one
Schedule
- Part-time, weekdays only
- Early morning shifts
