About this role
Monday to Sunday (3 x 8-hour shifts per week). Availability required for weekends (9:30 am?5:30 pm) and weekday closing shifts (11 am?7 pm or 12 pm?8 pm).
We are currently looking to fill the role for an MOA at our office at Morinville Family Medical Clinic.

Your Opportunity: As a Medical Office Assistant, you will be part of a dedicated team responsible for managing and maintaining positive, multi-faceted relationships with patients and medical clinics throughout Alberta.
Job Duties
- Greeting all patients, and ensuring 'excellent customer service is maintained
- Answering phones and contacting patients
-Checking patients into Healthquest,
-Checking AHC numbers to ensure the number is valid
- Booking patients into the EMR system
- Creating and maintaining up-to-date patient charts
- Working closely with multiple medical specialists within our practice
- Sanitization of waiting rooms, exam rooms, and work space
- Maintaining patient confidentiality
- and other administrative duties as assigned
Your Skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical Office Assistant Diploma or Unit Clerk Certificate - a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with EMR system(s) a plus
- Excellent customer service with a proactive approach to problem solving
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Taking initiative and finding ways to make our clinic even better!
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
