Position: Full-Time Journeyman Electrician
About the Position
Revolution Electrical Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced, motivated, and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our team.
We are looking for a self-starter with strong technical abilities, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to quality workmanship. The successful candidate must be comfortable working independently, collaborating with others, and taking a leadership role on projects when required.
Our work includes a variety of residential and commercial electrical installations, service calls, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certified Journeyman Electrician.
- Strong experience in residential and commercial electrical work.
- Excellent electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Ability to complete electrical installations independently and efficiently.
- Experience with electrical service, repairs, maintenance, and renovations.
- Ability to organize work, coordinate tasks, and lead small crews when required.
- Experience safely operating construction equipment, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Valid driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract.
- Strong knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code and safe work practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with customers, coworkers, and other trades.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Dependable, punctual, and capable of managing responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical systems and equipment.
- Interpret blueprints and plan electrical installations.
- Independently manage service calls and assigned projects.
- Coordinate with customers, coworkers, contractors, and other trades.
- Provide direction and guidance to apprentices or other team members when required.
- Identify project challenges and develop practical solutions.
- Safely operate equipment and tools required for electrical installations.
- Ensure all work meets applicable codes, safety requirements, and company standards.
- Maintain a professional appearance and positive attitude when representing the company.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their work and doesn't need constant direction.
The ideal candidate is confident in their technical abilities, can troubleshoot problems independently, and understands the importance of communicating effectively with both customers and coworkers.
They should be equally comfortable completing a service call on their own, working alongside a crew, or taking responsibility for coordinating a project.
