- Currently hiring *experienced Security Guards* for a site in Halifax. Availability: Must be available full time ( as the schedules are based on day, evenings and nights)
Position Summary
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors, and property
- Monitor premises using surveillance systems and conduct regular patrols
- Respond to incidents and emergencies with professionalism and vigilance
- Report directly to the Patrol Supervisor and Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure site safety and security
- Respond promptly to incidents and emergencies, including providing first aid when required
- Enforce site rules and regulations to prevent loss or damage
- Collaborate with law enforcement as needed
- Maintain accurate daily logs and incident reports
Requirements
- Must be *19 years of age or older*
- Minimum *Grade 12 education*
- Clean criminal record
- Valid *First Aid Certification* (must be completed through *in-person training*)
- Available on weekends, flexiblity with days and nights and rotational schedule
- Must currently reside in the *Halifax Regional Municipality*
