*RECE Position - *
*Part Time - 4 hrs/day 2 pm to 6 pm *
Heritage Child Care & Early Learning Centre is a non-profit childcare centre located in Scarborough
The successful candidate should meet the following qualifications:
- ECE diploma or equivalent with clear/current RECE designation
- Valid First Aid/CPR certification
- Immunization as per Toronto Public Health
- Food Handler?s Certificate an asset
- A genuine love and commitment to their profession and work with young children and families
- Experience with school age programs will be an asset
- Working knowledge of emergent curriculum and HDLH
- Ability to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs
- Possess excellent professional and best practice skills with colleagues, families, and other professionals
- Ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a committed and dedicated team
- Demonstrate flexibility and capacity to accept a fast-moving working environment with young children, colleagues and school professionals.
- Ability to carry out the physical duties and tasks of a child care's daily routine and schedule
- Knowledge and understanding of City of Toronto AQI Tool, FDK Extended Program Curriculum and CCEYA regulations
- A clear health and criminal reference check is necessary prior to employment
- Experience with Storypark an asset
- Salary to be discussed at time of interview (dependent on qualifications, experience, certification, and professional development)
- Must be authorized to work in Canada

Pay: $28.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20.0 per week

- Toronto, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Licence/Certification
- Registered Early Childhood Education designation (required)
Work Location: In person
