Stream 1 - Senior Financial Management AdvisorThe Senior Financial Management Advisor provides financial analysis, advice and support to assigned portfolios. The role works directly with budget owners and management to support financial planning, forecasting, expenditure monitoring and resource decisions, including the analysis and resolution of complex financial issues.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare salary and operating forecasts for assigned portfolios.
- Analyze financial results, variances, trends, risks and pressures.
- Prepare financial situation reports and other financial reports.
- Review and challenge financial information, forecasts and assumptions.
- Provide financial advice, options and recommendations to budget owners and management.
- Support annual budgeting, financial planning and resource-allocation activities.
- Analyze and resolve complex or emerging financial issues.
- Contribute to improvements in financial tools, processes and reporting.St
