We offer *24 hours per week*, with flexibility to tailor the schedule to the successful candidate's availability and organizational needs. • Preparing monthly and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Supporting annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Coordinating the annual audit and working with external auditors.
  • Processing payroll and administering employee benefits and pension programs, including statutory remittances.

  • Preparing required regulatory and charitable organization reports and filings.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting.

What We're Looking For

You will ideally have

  • Several years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience with full-cycle accounting, payroll, benefits, and pension administration.
  • Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and audit preparation.
  • Strong proficiency with *Sage accounting software and Microsoft Excel*.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • A high degree of accuracy, discretion, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
  • CPA designation or progress toward designation is an asset.

  • Competitive compensation based on experience and qualifications.
  • A respectful, collaborative, and supportive workplace.
  • The opportunity to contribute your expertise to a well-established charitable organization serving the Guelph community.
