Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist needed in Palm Harbor, FL! Job DescriptionManage and control the end-to-end Accounts Payable payment process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor payments. Process high-volume payments using checks, ACH, and wire transfers within SAP. Perform AP reconciliations, research discrepancies, and resolve payment issues to maintain accurate account balances.
Responsibilities
- Manage repayments, payment corrections, voids, and reissues as needed.
- Utilize AP analytics and reporting to monitor payment activity, identify discrepancies, and support process improvements.
- Maintain appropriate controls throughout the AP payment lifecycle, ensuring payment accuracy, proper approvals, and adherence to internal procedures.
- Support and navigate an Oracle-to-SAP ERP transition, including changes to payment processing, reconciliation, reporting, and AP workflows.
- Partner cross-functionally with accounting, treasury, procurement, and internal business teams to troubleshoot payment issues and ensure timely resolution.
- Assist with month-end AP activities, reconciliation, reporting, and outstanding payment items.
- Serve as a key resource for payment-related questions and help ensure consistency and efficiency across the overall AP function.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED required
- 2+ years of full cycle AP experience with mid to large-sized corporations
- Excel skills (Pivot, VLOOKUP, etc.)
- Solid understanding of AP processes particularly in payments
- Experience with Oracle or SAP software preferred, or other large ERP
- Experience with additional software such as Esker
Work EnvironmentThis position is mainly remote, with some office visits required for training and meetings. Some travel to the corporate office may be necessary, including a two-week on-site training in New York and potentially another two weeks if needed. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
