Description
- Our customer is looking to grow their Cloud Engineering team.
- The right candidate will have strong Azure platform experience, be very strong with Terraform (writing modules and modifying them), and experienced with AKS (EKS or GKS are acceptable alternates).
- This team is responsible for everything new that anyone in the organization wants to do in Azure, and owns a few of the more complex Azure services (Front Door, Azure Application Gateways, Azure DNS).
- When someone wants to implement a new tool or product, this team partners with the architects to decide how to implement it, and writes the terraform modules so other teams can use them to repeatably implement in the future.
- They also own and operate the AKS platform for the organization using terraform, GitHub, and GitHub action.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- This team is more of true engineering/some light architecture rather than operations, but they do partner closely with the SRE team that supports these services once they're in place.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ann Arbor, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
