CNC Mill Setup Operator
Join a growing precision machine shop where your skills are valued. We're looking for an experienced CNC Mill Setup Operator to work with Fanuc-controlled Doosan mills in a clean, climate-controlled facility.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC mills (Doosan 4100 & 300)
- Load, edit, and troubleshoot programs using G & M codes
- Read blueprints and job specifications
- Perform tooling, fixture, and machine setups
- Inspect parts using precision measuring tools
- Troubleshoot machining and quality issues
- Ensure parts meet customer specifications
What We're Looking For
- CNC mill setup experience
- Experience with Fanuc controls
- Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced job shop
Preferred: Haas experience, CNC lathe experience, 2-axis/4-axis machining, and live tooling.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rockford, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
