We are seeking hardworking, safety-conscious individuals to join a growing geotechnical construction team supporting large commercial, civil, and industrial projects throughout the Rocky Mountain region and surrounding states. - Laborers: $20-$24/hour
- Equipment Operators: $24-$27/hour
- Overtime available (average 50+ hours per week)
Travel Details
- Travel required approximately 50% of the time
- Projects typically last 1-2 months
- Work throughout Colorado, Utah, Kansas, North Dakota, Texas, Louisiana, and surrounding areas
- Home approximately once per month while traveling
- Company-paid mileage at the federal rate
- Flights provided when required
- $40/day per diem on qualifying projects
- Long weekends home between extended assignments
Job Responsibilities
Laborers
- General site cleanup and housekeeping
- Assist with trenching and digging operations
- Move hoses, drill pipe, and construction materials around the site
- Spot equipment and assist operators
- Compact soil and perform shovel work
- Clean and maintain equipment
- Assist with rebar installation and wood lagging installation
- Follow all safety procedures and site requirements
Equipment Operators
- Operate and inspect construction equipment
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and inspections
- Assist with rigging, hoisting, spotting, and material movement
- Conduct soil leveling and ground preparation activities
- Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
- Operate pumps, generators, compressors, mixers, and other jobsite equipment
- Experienced operators may have opportunities to run specialized geotechnical drilling equipment
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in construction, concrete, agriculture, landscaping, dirt work, welding, excavation, or related outdoor work
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift and move 75+ lbs regularly
- Willingness to travel extensively for projects
- Ability to work 5-6 days per week and 10+ hour shifts
- Strong attention to safety
- Forklift, skid steer, or heavy equipment experience is a plus
- Flexibility to occasionally work night shifts

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, CO.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
