Job Title: Food Service Worker
Shifts available: 6:30AM-2:30PM / 7:00AM-3:00PM11:00AM-7:00PM / 12:00PM-8:00PMPay: $13.60-15.20Location: Oklahoma City, OklahomaJob DescriptionThe Food Service Worker supports daily food operations across the facility by assisting with food preparation, setup, and service in areas where meals are prepared and served. This role focuses on assembling and delivering patient trays, serving food from counters and steam tables, and maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary work environment in accordance with food handling best practices.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and serving of food from counters and steam tables in designated food preparation areas.
- Assemble patient meal trays accurately according to meal specifications and dietary guidelines.
- Deliver patient trays promptly and courteously to designated locations within the facility.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, utensils, workstations, and service areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
- Follow established food handling and hygiene best practices at all times.
- Support general kitchen operations, including basic food preparation tasks as directed.
- Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and onboarding requirements before starting and throughout the assignment.
- Work any assigned 8-hour shift within kitchen operating hours (6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.), including rotating weekends, and float between shifts as needed.
Essential Skills
- Ability to work any 8-hour shift between 6:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., including rotating weekends.
- At least 6 months of restaurant or food service experience.
- Strong understanding of and adherence to good hygiene and food handling best practices.
- Consistent and reliable attendance history.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a fast-paced food service environment.
- Capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks in a kitchen setting.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $13.60 - $13.60/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
