What You'll Be Doing
As a General Utility Worker, you'll rotate through various production areas to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Support packing, palletizing, box making, and sanitation functions
- Remove and dispose of excess materials from production areas
- Break down incoming packaging materials, boxes, and labels
- Sort waste into cardboard, plastic, and general trash categories
- Clean and sanitize equipment, machines, and containers
- Assist with packaging and inspection of finished products
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow GMP, food safety, and workplace safety standards
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 1 year of production, manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a 10-hour shift
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Strong attendance and reliability
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
Preferred Experience
- Food manufacturing or GMP environment experience
- Packaging, palletizing, or production line experience
- Quality inspection experience
- Material handling and sanitation experience
Schedule
🕒 2nd ShiftMonday - Friday | 3:45 PM - 1:00 AM Frequent overtime available Most Saturdays required 50-60 hours per week Overtime paid after 8 hours worked per shift

- Refrigerated food production facility (30-40°F)
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Racine, WI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
