Warehouse Worker
Position: Warehouse WorkerSchedule: Monday-Friday, 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM/1:00 AM (occasional Sundays)Industry: Food Distribution / Warehouse Operations
Job Summary
- Support warehouse operations by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products.
- Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
- Maintain product quality standards and inventory accuracy.
- Work in a fast-paced cold storage warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and complete customer orders according to schedule.
- Load, unload, pack, wrap, label, and ship products.
- Receive and process inbound inventory.
- Pick, count, check, label, and store products accurately.
- Perform inventory control and quality checks.
- Build and secure pallets for safe storage and transportation.
- Maintain product integrity and proper storage conditions.
- Identify products by lot number, brand, size, and quality.
- Keep warehouse areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow company procedures and productivity standards.
- Assist with sanitation, housekeeping, receiving, and unloading tasks.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Ability to lift 50-60 lbs consistently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.
- Experience with warehouse picking and packing.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Willingness to perform additional warehouse duties as needed.
- Ability to operate an electric pallet jack (walkie).
Preferred Qualifications
- Food handling experience.
- Experience working in cold storage environments.
- Warehouse inbound or outbound experience.
- Order picking experience.
- General labor and material handling experience.
Work Environment
- Cold warehouse storing fruits and vegetables.
- Temperatures range from 33°F to 55°F.
- Distribution center serving grocery stores and school districts.
- Physical work requiring lifting, walking, bending, and standing.
- Overtime available, with many employees working 45-50 hours per week.
- Fridays are mandatory due to business demand.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burlington, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
