Qualifications
4+ years of experience as an Outside Machinist, Machinist Mate, or Marine Mechanic Experience working aboard Navy, military, or commercial vessels Strong troubleshooting, installation, and repair experience on mechanical systems
🔧 What You'll Be Doing
Installing and aligning propulsion equipment, pumps, motors, and machinery Performing valve maintenance, hydro testing, and equipment overhauls Repairing and servicing shipboard HVAC and refrigeration systems Operating lathes, mills, boring machines, and precision tooling equipment Installing hydraulic systems, compressors, and auxiliary machinery Taking precise measurements to ensure equipment meets specifications Supporting shaft alignment, bearing replacement, and operational testing

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
