Job Overview
Aerotek is looking for hardworking individuals with oil & gas experience to join a growing team as an Oilfield Rig Up & Down Laborer (Roustabout). In this role, you'll help set up, maintain, and tear down equipment used in water transfer and drilling operations. This is a hands-on, outdoor position with plenty of overtime available.
What You'll Do
- Rig up and rig down pumps, manifolds, lay-flat hose, and temporary pipelines
- Install, connect, test, and remove water transfer lines
- Monitor equipment and transfer operations for leaks or issues
- Perform basic maintenance on pumps, valves, fittings, and hoses
- Load, unload, and move equipment between job sites
- Assist with troubleshooting and minor equipment repairs
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, excavators, and other machinery
- Support pipeline installation and other oilfield operations
- Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations
What We're Looking For
- Previous oil & gas experience, preferably with rig up/down operations
- Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Strong safety awareness and ability to wear PPE
- Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
- Ability to perform physical labor and work long hours

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wheeling, WV.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
